I am home now from the SCA event that Dan and I went to. It was a great day and Dan and I enjoyed it. I wore my new Viking apron dress and I am happy to report that I approximately 6-10 people said they liked my outfit. These were people I had never met before so was VERY happy about that. Another person, who had Dan had approached with a question, gave me some advise on what to do about the straps of my apron dress since they keep falling off my shoulder.
Since this was the changing of guard, to put it in non SCA terms, there was a fund raiser. Dan bought me a etched glass from the fund raiser. He was in his element. It had been awhile since he met some of the people and they all remembered him and he needed to hear that.
This will be a short post. I need to get back in bed. As I was getting things set up to work on the new mini wall hanging/candle at, my chair started to move back on me in the middle of me sitting down. Yep, you guessed it. I fell and took a tumble. It took me a bit to get back up. The thing I love about the way the chair moves now, worked against me. I went down pretty hard and then, m of course, had trouble getting back up. The other chairs in the area were: my rocking chair, and the two chairs that caused the fall. Finally I thought of the couch and the my desk chair. That had the same wheels that caused the problem but it was pushed against my chest under the a/c unit so it wasn't going anywhere. That is how I got back up. It is 11:19 p.m. and FINALLY don't feel as bad. I am sure tomorrow will be a bad day. The bruises are going to start to come out so I'll really see how it is. Dan said he would call me tomorrow to make sure that I can move around and won't need to go see the doctor. :)
That is all for now. I'll try to go back to bed and see if I can get some sleep before the rain come.
