Hi everybody,
I just thought I would send some pictures on how my birthday went., I need to do it now because I over ate and will fall asleep soon to nap. LOL.
This will be mostly pictures but I know that I forgot to take a picture of my pretty new stationary that I was given for my birthday, I will have to post that next time. But here are some pictures that I did take.
First of all, we had our SCA meeting today I can now officially announce that I am no longer the exchequer for our group. That was like an early birthday present. At our meeting today, Koressa gave her first exchequer report. Dan will take me to the bank next week to meet up with Koressa since she will need to do the paperwork to have the monthly bank statement go to her instead of to me. We met at Panera Bread since where we were going to meet already a HUGE birthday party setting up. That was ok. We keep Panera bread as our back up site. Shalom brought lemon cake slices in honor of my birthday and he gave me some dark chocolate . He said that dark chocolate is supppose to be good for diabetics. LOL.
After that we went to visit his son who isin the hospital. I stayed in the waiting room so Dan could have some quiet time., His son doesn't do well with new people. I've met him once or twice but not enough for him to remember especially when he isn't feeling well.. I'm glad that we stopped,. Jon was feeling better and Dan was able to catch up with his progress. He now knows what the treatment lan is for Jon but Jon was aware of Dan being there and smling a bit. That was indeed a good sign. In a normal person, it wouldnt have probably ben necessary to have his son go into the hoospital but due tohealth conditions it was necessary and now Dan nows the treatment plan. I was so happy that Jon was smling and doing well.
After that we returned to Truman so that Dan could take me out for dinner. We went to the Mexican restaurant in Trumann. We have only been there once before so we wanted to try it again. It didnot disappoint. We bothhad
It was very good and we could only eat half of it. Dan also ordered some stuff shreimp (stuffed with cheese and jalapenois. I tred one and I could eat one but that was it. I am sensitive to spicy things but it was nce to try one. The jalapenois were finely chopped so they didn't overwhelm. We also ordered a large order of guacamole dip. We both Love that. The large order ws enough for both of us to eat as well as having some for each of us to take home,
We were so stuffed that we could eat half and took the rest of it home. I think the cats were wanting some ofmy leftovers but no way kids. You can look and smell but you cant have any!! They were sulking under the porch chair when we pulled up.

They will eventually forgive me. Then Dn gave me my birthday present. He gave me another oun e of silver. It has the tree of life on it.
So that is about it. I had a lot of friends wish me happy birthday and Ihad a great meal andnow it is time for me to rest. :) Stay safe everybody.
