Dayquil...my friend

I still am not feeling the best but will plan on taking lots of naps today.  In other words, I won't be too productive today.  I will be going into the office tomorrow to start to show a co-worker how to do a t-shirt quilt.  I did hear from my friend Connie who came out of surgery fine and is now back home.  Get better soon Connie.  I miss chatting with you.

So, since it is time to take another nap, I'm just going to post some more pictures from the quilt show.

Inspired by Inspired by Tradition

I managed to get all my blocks fused and now can start to stitch them.  That will take a bit since I do that by hand.

I still haven't decided if I want to put in sashings or not.  I will cut down the blocks after I stitch them.

Now for some more pictures from the show.

Snowmen - four blocks done

Wow.  I can't believe I've kept up with this BOM so far.  Actually it's a pretty easy part or at least this part is.  When we get to the sashings....well I'm not good at piecing.  There's more blocks to do before I have to worry about it.

Here's a picture of the four done blocks.

Now for some more quilt pix.  :)

Hmmm. Don't think I posted anything today....

Still have more pictures to post from the quilt show.  My calf muscles still ache but it was worth it.  I did have to run to JoAnne's because the Pearle Cotton I picked up at the show doesn't like to go through the needles I have at home.  I don't want to take 15 minutes to thread the needle all the time.  That was a quick trip though so now I'm back home and had lunch.  Now to figure out what to work on this time.  While I am making up my mind, here are some more pictures.

The burning Bus

Ohhhh.  I almost took the bus from a somewhat local quilt shop to the International Quilt Show but am so happy (happier?) when Diane said she would be going and could take me.  Here is the bus that the quilt shop used (thanks Connie for finding that).  Nobody was hurt but it did delay their trip.  Hopefully they had a good time at the show before making the trip safely back to the store.

Some more traditional quilts - appliqued

I can't help it.  I love applique and here are some excellent examples of it.

Lazy Days

Good Afternoon everybody!      I'm sorry that I haven't posted for a bit and, in actuality, I have no good excuse.  So what have I ...
