I have some ideas...

I was going through my container of orphan blocks and paired some up for possible future projects.  I am thinking small wall hangings and/or table runners.  Those are the two sizes that I use the most.  Here are the blocks that I think would look ok together.  What do you think?

I'm not sure if I can find another block to make these pink-ish blacks into a wall hanging but at the very least they might be able to be put together for a table runner.

I think these four blocks look ok together.  I might make them into a small wall hanging.

This is probably the most perplexing since the greens are all different shades.  If I can figure out what to make another green block, I could make it into a wall hanging.

   Any ideas?

Now, the last thing I have to report is my mug rug that I made for the August swap.

The center hexie is one of three that a friend sent me.  Deb was giving it away and I said I could take them.  I received three blocks.  I asked a friend and she thought I ought to make another mug rug from another one of the hexies.  Here is what I am thinking.

That would leave me one more that I could turn into something.  Who knows.  It will be a quick-ish little project and, once again, will use up some of my scrap fabric.

Is anybody else working on something?  Let me know!

New Fabric

This will be a quick post.  I just had to take a pix and show you some of my fabric that arrived for the Delft blue BOM from Suzy's Sitcom.  I still have one more blue fabric that should be here soon.  I will wait until after my birthday before I try to cut some of it.  I'm not ready yet to get started but I am sort of ready to stat to get excited about it.

The other news that I have today is that the little black and white kitten that had shown up awhile ago was seen today.  This time it was walking a lot steadier and even ate out of the cat bowls and drink out of the water bowl.  Some of the other cats were in the yard but they didn't bother it it too badly.  They didn't chase it off, but they were watching it and wouldn't let it eat out of a bowl that was too close.  It's a start.  They did let the kitten lay out in he yard with them and also on the porch which is a good sign,

I hope everybody has a great day.  Hugs to all!
