It has been awhile since I have done an update. That is for a couple of reasons. First is that I don't have a lot to report on. The other reason is that my eyes have been bothering me so I haven't worked on a lot of things. I haven't done blackwork for quite awhile because it was straining my eyes. I did manage to finish a couple of things. The first was a mug rug for my friend Susan. She has received it now so I can share a picture with you.
The other thing I finished was a gift for my friend Deb. Deb loves flamingoes and I saw this pattern and had to make it for her. It isn't hat large. The inside section is 12 inches and I think I put a three inch border on it. I can't remember. I can now show a picture of it since Deb has received it.
The back is wavy lines in various shades of blue which remind me of water. They both said they liked t which, of course, made my day.
That's actually the only thing I have managed to get done. It is so hot that I do not seem to find the energy to do anything.
