started stitching on Inspired

I have started to stitch on the first of my nine blocks for Inspired by Inspired by Tradition.  I am using this wall hanging to practice my hand stitching.  I want to make my stitches smaller and closer together. This is both the front and back of the first block (not done yet obviously).

Now that you've seen my feeble attempts....have fun looking at more pix from the International Quilt Show.
