The top would have been done last night except for one thing......I ran out of black thread. Don't ask me how that happened. I found brown, various shades of dark blue, grey....but no black. Off to Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's after lunch today. I also decided that the eyes on the bumblebee would be too hard to machine applique so might have to do them by hand. Cutting the pattern down by 60% made those pieces VERY small.
Until then I have a blind handicapped bee flying around searching for his flowers.
